On a personal note....

Doug started his real estate career way back when his office had 2 computers and contracts were hand written - with 5 carbon copies on legal size forms!  Doug has always been interested and involved with the construction and mechanics of homes - from a young teenager learning and working at his father's department store.

" I admire and appreciate the progression of architecture of homes in Victoria, from the 1880's up to now."

Before helping people buy and sell real estate, Doug has been involved in a few different jobs : from house renovation, processing/selling/buying at a local seafood wholesaler, to detailing/polishing vehicles in the Westshore.

Doug has been married to his amazing wife, Corey (who runs a family daycare,) since 1999 and they have three grown children who are making their parents very proud with their carreer choices. Doug is also a grandfather of two energetic boys. Doug and Corey currently only have three rescue huskies (no cats right now) and have always loved their furry rescue kids.

Doug has always been very interested and involved in auto mechanics from a very young age. He restored a 1956 Austin Healey (before he got his driver's licence,) worked on (or drove) cars at the local race track (in the late 1980's and early 1990's), and had a few interesting vehicles over the years. Doug also enjoys camping, boating and fishing - as all Vancouver Islanders should!
