November is RADON gas awareness month….

Radon is a radioactive gas formed by the breakdown of uranium in the soil. Apparently, it is present at some level in every home. It can be anywhere, and every home is different – radon levels can be very different from one home to the next. Sources say that extended Radon exposure, over a certain level, is the second most leading cause of lung cancer. According t0 the CDC, Vancouver Island is shown to have less than 1% of homes with higher levels of Radon. You can email me for more information and to find out how to test your home.
